Letter to A Soldier

Did you know you're my inspiration?
You give me life and hope.
You're never there in person,
But always in my heart.
Did you know I worried for you?
Each day and every night.
You'd always be okay,
But never in my sight.
Did you know I wrote you daily?
On paper and in mind.
You would never read them
But still I knew you'd find,
A little bit of inspiration,
Always in my heart.
