Be something, I know it can be hard but you have to go though it to get past it -Alexa_l. (Teen Ink)

They're insane you know
They put me in this jacket and I can't move my arms
They tell me I'm sick
I feel fine though
My head doesn't hurt
That is, unless the voices come back
Mommy used to tell me that my medicine could help
But my medicine was made it worse
Daddy used to tell me to sit quietly
But quiet made the voices loud
The whole room is white, and covered in this weird stuff
It looks soft, but it hurts when you hit it
I like to hit it
It's a fun game to play
It looks like I'm stuck in a big marshmallow
What if the marshmallow gets toasted
Will it mean I'll get toasted too
What if it gets burned
Will I burn too
If it melts, will I
What if this marshmallow is food for a giant
How will I get out
Here comes the nice man with the big arms
He's very nice
He always smiles a too big smile
But he looks nice with that too big smile
I don't know his name
But that's okay he always says
I asked him what this place is
He said to me simply that it is an asylum and I'm crazy, insane in fact
But I'm not crazy
I'm normal
I have arms and legs
And teeth and feet
I have a voice and all of my senses
I have a personality
I am me
I asked him what he does today
And all he had left to say was that he helped the sick
He must help the other people here
Or maybe somewhere else
I'm not sick though
I'm fine

But they're all sick you know

Tough topic insanity is, I guess I'll keep trying until I get it down.
