My Son's Gun
I hope to one day have a son,
Whom to I can give a gun.
Many will say wait until he’s bigger,
So that he doesn't mistakingly pull the trigger.
I will teach him whether sun or snow.
He will learn everything he needs to know.
He’ll never view it as a toy.
I’ll watch him grow from a boy.
A single pull, a single breath,
Signifies an angel of death.
My son’s gun is his defense.
Next time use some common sense.
I taught my son very well.
Out comes an empty shell.
I stand very proud of all he has done.
He respects and knows his gun.
