Grasping at the glowing feeling,
the red hot sizzling passion,
I get only when you're around.
Jittery exhilaration lights up my body
my heart quaking in my chest
my mind brimming with the image of you.
And I hold on with all my strength,
locking-on to these twinklings of paradise,
the flitting seconds of complete satisfaction.
I’m addicted to your presence,
drunk on just the thought of you.
These are the moments we live for,
The memories we will look back on and smile,
The ones that saturate me with overwhelming love.
So I snap another picture-
develop another roll of film,
So that I can remember the dimming moments
so that I can relive the fading memories
When I am deflated
And have lost all hope.
