"It was gone, leaving in its place an almost uncontrollable impulse to laugh, to scream, to hurl things about. She wanted, suddenly, to shock people, to hurt them, to make them notice her, to be aware of her suffering.”
•Nella Larsen, Passing•

Do you ever think before you speak?
Or do the words flow out of your mouth
Fast and quick
vodka
Sloshing over your red cup spilling venom on your so called friends
have you ever opened your mind, eyes?
Just like you tell me to open mine
open my mouth.
Upon your request I did.
but you didn’t listen
Combating me because you ironically had it worse
but is this a competition?
All I need is an open mind, eyes
open ears
You decided that all I was looking for was attention.
attention w****
But darling you’re the one who gave yourself to a boy
who only wanted more
more numbers, more girls, more from you
blinded by his smile and charm, accepting his repulsive actions
because you were finally happy and he was the one
You sold yourself short but are always high on your own name
I opened my eyes, mind, ears
I opened my mouth only to you
Only for you

to degrade me, to dismiss me, to tell me to take the easy way.

So thank you for all your support.
