Why do we not explore?
We sit so close to home,
The familiar path to town,
Through the familiar woods,
Over the familiar bridge,
Built over the familiar stream.

Why do we not explore?
Why not venture out?
Take a different path to town,
Explore the underbrush.
Swim through the stream,
instead of walking over.

Why do we not explore?
Take a ship to sea,
into the storm of life.
Find new destinations,
explore as you can,
and enjoy the unknown.
