Fourth quarter,
2 minutes left.
Coach ranting,
Trying to listen,
Focused on winning,
We want it
Bad.

Buzzer screams,
Team huddles,
1-2-3 Cats!
Defense strong,
Shots on,
Up by 2.

Pressure on,
Shut them down,
Make them foul,
Go to the line.
Up by 6,
30 seconds left.

Heart thumping,
Sweat pouring,
Coaches screaming,
Whistles blowing,
Focused.

Up by 3,
5 seconds left,
No shot,
Beyond the arc,
Where they
can win.

Home court,
Crowd wild,
Coach crying,
We won.

Champions.
