I never believed in love
but I believed in you and me.
Your laugh echos in my head
just so you know,
I'll hear it for years.
I drink liquid gold to forget
your touch but it's inside my skin
so it's no use.
It only makes me want you more.
Do you remember those times
you woke up in my arms,
I do and I wish I didn't.
We have such a pointless story
we didn't even know what to do with it.
