3 Something in the Morning

At this time of night,
After the sun sleeps and almost wakes again.
Coolness runs over toes peeking out of cover.
The loads of the day drag eye lids down.
Wrapped tightly in the arms of a familiar friend,
The bliss of closeness and no escape.
The fragrance in the sheets soothe the soul,
Slipping slowly from this unrealistic reality I currently live.
The grin, calm, of thinking
Thinking of this,
Drifting into the world of inspirations and fears.
Never such a time then this,
At 3 something in the morning
