songs of sorrow

As my blood flows
the ink does as well
pulsing through my mind and soul
traveling to places unknwon
blind eyed car rides
with no headlights exposed
waiting to be dragged down
as the tide grows
and grows
disintergrating into the air
with plenty of desire but none to show
screaming through closed doors
of ruins of empty homes
only to hear cries reply in the distance
like bittersweet melodies
singing out the realization
that everyone is engufed in misery
