You can shoot for the moon
You'll get through this soon
You'll dance with the stars
Like their your friends
But then you'll realize
That their eyes speak lies
That you're on Mars
Far from the stars
Your only friends
Your body bends
To make amends
With the stars
Yet you fall
They realize that you've got nothing
They reject you
It's crushing
So when you shoot for the moon
Stay on track
Don't hesitate, don't look back
Don't dance with the stars
You'll end up on Mars
When you only wanted the moon
Trust me, love, you'll get through this soon...

This poem is pretty much saying, when you set a goal, you should stick to it, all the way through. Don't let anyone get in your way of that goal. Don't let people drag you away or put you down. STICK TO IT.
