This poem is to my best friend
You’ve been there forever, and forever I hope you stay
Your internal beauty is one I hope I share, your love, your kindness, your ability to care
I strive so hard to be just like you, to be the best at everything I do, to make you proud
You’re an inspiration, everything a best friend should be and more
The day you leave to heaven I hope I’m not far behind, because life without you might as well be he**
Tea without you is just tasteless water; days on the couch will no longer be an enjoyable, relaxing time to bond, but a reminder that you’re gone
Moments without you are just endless, timeless – nothing
I love you more than anything; nothing will ever change that
We are best friends for life so I hope that one day I can repay you for all that you’ve sacrificed
I just want you to know how much you mean to me so this poem is for you my best friend: my one and only mommy.

very interesting! i like the whole best friend idea (i wrote one called Button about m best friend) but i think it should just stay at best friend. the mommy, is a bit odd to me, promarily becuase its sounds like someone with no friends, and i truly hope you have many friends.

Amazing poem :) i thought that hti was about a best friend, perhaps a guy, that you might have had hidden feelings for, and when i read "mommy " at the very end i smiled as big as I could. This is an amazing piece and I  hope you continue to write more.
