The Lizard King has fled the kingdom,
Crown left upon his throne.
My dear this isn’t recent,
Happened many years ago
What actually happened, well no one really knows.
They said, “He died”
They said, “He’s gone, he’ll never rise again.”
But he had done amazing things no other mortal can.
My friend are you quite certain that the King was just a man?
Could he have just said, “F*** this fame, I hate this game, have we not yet won?
We’ve lost a hundred times now,
I’m a sellout
Bound in shackles for the man.”
The lizard king, he left that day,
But
Where has he gone?
Did he escape to Africa?
Or Bangkok, or Taiwan?
Perhaps the masses preach the truth
That drugs simply proved too much that day
He bit off more than he could chew
A lengthy grapple
Fits of rage
Musical genius
Wondrous voice
Ended in a bathtub
By the drugs
