I am quiet and pale
I wonder who I am
I hear turtles shriek
I see clouds falling
I want love
I am quiet and pale
I pretend I’m happy
I feel the rain coming
I touch my heart strings as I rearrange them
I worry I will remain a loner forever
I cry for my pain
I am quiet and pale
I understand the strife
I say I will be saved
I dream I will become sane
I try to be “normal”
I hope I will see tomorrow
I am quiet and pale
