Hope’s candle is lit
As bright as a star
When dark times call for it
It comes from a far

The wax does not melt
Instead it holds its shape
Through all the joy felt
From its golden glowing flame

People rise
Their faces become bright
While the tears in their eyes
Become dry from the light

Think of the candle the symbol at the end of the dark tunnel and how much that candle is hope in its many forms. The candle is peace and love and by existing at all it brings what we call, HOPE.
