I'm holding it all inside,
simple words turning bitter.
Like poison in my mouth,
it seeps in,
Burrowing deeper,
and deeper,
gnawing a whole in my chest,
eating away at my insides,
taking rest, coiled up,
festering;
A sore;
that can only be healed
by words unspoken.
