I cant figure it out
I have no doubt
Who I am
no wait I do
I have so many mask which one should I choose
One for many occasions
One for my friends
so I look cool to them
One for my family
so they dont know the real me
the me that goes behind them
and so they dont judge me
but somehow that mask doesnt work
cause sometimes they see right through me or find out things
Then one for me
so I can pretend to be strong
to be someone I'm not
to put on a smile while I know I should not
To let people take advantage
knowing I'm stronger than what I know
How I secretly hate the boy I used to like That I loved that used my love like a drug.
How I see his face from time to time and have to act like he isnt in the dark seeps in my mind
When will I ever be me?

I was thinking about mask almost all of us has them some to fit in and some to be like others and to talk about things we know we shouldnt so I thought about it

I LUV THIS SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! i relate to it to a lot except the part of them seeing threw it i hav many layers so that dsnt happen but thank u for writting this keep writting :)

I like this poem a lot! I find it kind of sad though, that so many people feel they have to wear a mask all the time. Hope you find a way to live mask-free!!

you've got my life to a T. masks are the best resource for hiding different parts of yourself from others. i just wish i could be myself to everyone. maybe life wouldn't be so hard if we got rid of those masks. thank you. this is REALLY good.

Wow, i really really liked this. i know EXACTLY how you feel. i felt like i connected to this poem is so many different ways. read some of my poems sometimes, i think you might enjoy them keep writing:)
