What’s going on in the world in which we live?
Young men killing each other.
Murder my sisters and brothers.
We hear the loud gun shots, but not hear the teacher at school.
We smoke weed and drink poison because we think it’s cool.

I feel violated from the site of the community we live in.
Our young people dangle flags, and determine who you are by the color of your rag.
Your swagger aint right, If you aint got 200 dollar jeans to sag.
We do wrong and wonder why we end up on those t-shirts.
Does it hurt to open your eyes wide.

Open your eyes wide, witness the madness.
Take a look over your expensive sun glasses.
Crack open that good book and save your self, from the world.
We living crazy lives, wit crazy minds.

Kill the next man because he stared at you wrong.
Disrespect the women that we claim we love in our songs.
Un-blur the picture and see what I see.
