Gold speckles sift through my flyscreen

Creeping down the steps of colorful shotgun homes

They replicate themselves throughout Bourbon Street

Who birthed jazz and cherished the sons of voodoo

Where the glitz and glam of costumes unite

Where strip and rock get an invite

Welcome to the Big Easy life

I sent this to my grandparents who live in New Orleans and they both loved it. They said you captured current day and historical New Orleans very well.

Beautiful! I visited New Orleans before and this piece brought back so many amazing memories. I love the blend between historical and present day New Orleans.

Wow! I LOVE this piece. I'm from New Orleans and this captured the spirit of Bourbon Street so accurately. I love the historical reference of voodoo and jazz as well.
