ALIVE OR NOT?

One life, one chance,
Is all we’re afforded by the almighty.
To write, sing, work or dance,
Just make a mark to last an eternity.

To live a life of deliberation,
Your choice to be futile or great,
To be soaked in self damnation,
In your hands lies your fate.

To be enriched with life’s essential facts,
Or the glorified sins of mortals.
To keep justifying your acts,
Or just mercilessly stick by only your morals.

To fit in the boots given to you,
Or make yourself a perfect pair,
To create an identity new,
Or for acceptance cede your flair.

To take the incomplete truth they gave,
Just enough to cover your face,
Else be enough brave,
So the entire truth you ace.

To squeeze out of life in entirety,
What not ought to be there,
So your soul is a pure entity,
And your thoughts be clear.

Slip into the hole they dug for you,
Or make your own statue of existence,
Care about bindings far and few,
Or continue a life of utter subsistence.

Give a thought to word of my,
This advice that I give,
So you don’t discover when you die,
That you had not ever lived!!!
