Hell is going through Life without knowing Love

Don't control your emotions, understand them,
Let them fill you up, then use them to your advantage.
So come and batter this white canvas black,
Beat away its blank innocence with your raged brush.
Slow, deep strokes for when it brewed in your blood,
Splashing streams of free-flying drops for when you cried,
Full-planted smacks for when you couldn't let it all out.
Leave a speck of white, so you can remember what it looked like
Before the lust of black's shimmer took its hold on you.
Place it on your ceiling, stare into the abyss that anger creates.
When you are ready, take it down, pull out the blue paint,
And lighten the canvas's depth to that of the ocean,
Running the brush like the tides that carry you from
Black to blue, and paint white sails for the journey that
Your heart set on in the struggle from
beyond the edge.
Then add white to the can, lighten your blues in tone,
And paint the sky with periwinkle and small brown birds
Amongst the swirling clouds that slowly carry your pain
Away along with the winds and rain of a screaming heaven.
Take the flat of your brush and spot the lower-half bronze
And create the soil for seeds to come and plant themselves.
Watch those dry seeds grow into new life on the edge of
Your green bristles as you paint the stems of a beautiful garden.
Take your fingers and feel your thumbs blossom petals of
Twenty violet orchids, thirty pink tulips, fifty white daisies,
One-hundred yellow sunflowers, and one-hundred and ninety-nine thorned stems
Of red roses, petals painted with the blood that seeps from the pricks.
In the center of the garden, leave one stem unthorned, petals unpainted,
To remember, in time, that you will pick-it out from the ceiling,
She will kiss the petals red with her lipstick, and pin it on your jacket.
Don't control your emotions, understand them,
Let them fill you up, then use them to your advantage.
