“Alone. Yes, that's the key word, the most awful word in the English tongue. Murder doesn't hold a candle to it and hell is only a poor synonym.”
― Stephen King

Together forever,
You always said,
And that's how I knew
That you loved me.

So many fights,
I'm so sorry you said,
And I still thought
That you loved me.

So many words,
Now left unsaid,
And I still hoped
That you loved me.

So little time,
Not now you said,
And I would wait
For you to love me.

No longer are we,
Short goodbye you said,
And you just gave up,
Didn't you love me?

So sad am I now,
Better off dead,
And still I wonder,
Did you ever love me?
