Summary:
When Trinity Westover hears the ancient prophesy of the corrupted Night Mistress, she panics. The date of Her resurgence was in three days! Yet her mentor, Princess Celestia herself, insists that she prepares for the Summer Sun Celebration in the small town of Mansville, dismissing the prophesy as part of a "dusty old book."
As others come to Trinity in an effort to make friendships, the studious young girl wants nothing to do with them, and spends the whole time researching the ancient legend. So when the Princess goes missing, only one person holds the answer.
