In the midst of the Mojave Desert, a place of past fortune lies in ruin. The Rock-A-Hoola Water Park was once a bustling place. It had everything a waterpark should have; from twisting and turning water slides to adrenaline-pumping wave pools. It would see families and friends in the thousands. Holidays, weekends, or whatever the occasion, Rock-A-Hoola was a place to be. Now, however, the park sits alone, forever silent. The once crystalline-blue pools now sift with dry desert sand; the once patron-filled lines are now empty, sitting alone with only whispers of the wind filling the dry air. The shell of a once popular park remains, leaving all to wonder about its past. Only former attendants can ever really know what the park was like during operation. A feeling of curiosity can’t be helped when imagining what a day there would be like.
