Mostly just be yourself. You won't get anyone's respect if you act differently to follow a crowd or look cool for the upperclassmen.

Work hard. It still counts even if the guidance counselors say it doesn't. That being said, enjoy yourself-- it goes by very quick

WORK AND STUDY HARD. Always stay on your teacher's good side so that in case you need help, they would more than happy to help you. Always be ahead of your class and do all your work/homework without a complaint. YOUR FRESHMAN COUNTS NO MATTER WHAT! Good luck!
