Add a sentence after the prompt (only one!) to keep the game going. The aim is to create something cool and entertaining, so while it truly is up to the reader/writer's interpretation, try to add a sentence that can make the story make sense. I suggest keeping an eye out for the tense, too (present, past, etc.) as it's great practice and will help the story flow. Have fun!

First sentence:
When I was a child, I promised myself I would never come back to this forlorn place, yet here I am.

Everything I did was to protect them, and as soon as I looked away, even if only for a second, They were gone.

That left me as the only one who could finish the year long ritual and achieve our deepest desires.

It was probably the most soul-crushing thing that I have ever experienced.

And yet, I did it anyways. I fell in love.

Funny how I go from one boy to another, completely on cloud nine.

Some would call me promiscuous, jumping from boy to boy, but I think of it as an act of self-preservation.

I couldn't handle the loneliness -- never could, even as a child -- and so I did the stupidest thing, after falling in love: I went out to look for them.

I spent days and nights searching far and wide yet he was nowhere to be seen. And in the process of searching for him, I lost myself.
