Same Gender Realtionships= No good at all.

Nothing makes me more irate than people thinking it's okay to be bi/g.ay. We were not meant to be that way. Come on, you're allowed to kiss someone who's the same gender as you out in public, but not allowed to pray in school? Bull.

You're allowed to pray in public.

You're not allowed to kiss in school, whether the people are of same gender or not, and'll get a detention if you get caught. (At least, that's how many schools are in dealing with PDA)

Peace.

I pray in school all the time. Just because you can't make a big show of it dosn't mean you can't pray.

I also agree with random. Plus, I don't feel it's nessisary to make everyone pray the same at school. School is mainly about learning. If you want to pray in a huge and big show way you can go to religous school.

As for the main point of this post, as a Mormon and a Christain, I agree. Being g.ay is wrong.

Hmm...tell me, how much exposure have you actually had to h.o.m.o.se.xu.ality/b.i.s.e.x.u.a.l.it.y? Has it only been people and/or the Bible telling you it's wrong?

I hate to admit it, but I have never met a ho.mo.se.xual person. I have only heard it is bad from the Bible and the prophets. When I do meet one, I hope I will be polite. I know it's wrong, but I also know that a person still has feelings, whether they are g.ay or not.

I'm a christian and I think bieng g.ay is fine. Jesus taught love he said 'love one and other' and if two people love each other, the only sin is to keep them appart. He also said 'do the most loving thing' and i view condeming someone for what they cannot help, is not loving at all.

I agree with you, AnimaCordis, God does tell us to love one another. I'm not condemning g.ays, I'm just saying that people of the same gender going out probably isn't the best idea.

Why not? If God had not told you via the Bible it was bad, why would you say it was bad for two people of the same gender to date? Surely the fact that two men or two women can't have kids/ have biological s.e.x. together the "correct way" to reproduce isn't one (after all, plenty of people either A) don't have s.e.x. but are still in relationships, such as thosewho choose to remain ab.s.t.in.e.nt and others who wait until marriage B) cannot have kids but still have s.e.x., such as men and women who have hit me.n.o.p.a.u.s.e, and people who are in.f.er.ti.l.e).

Well, if God wouldn't have said it was wrong, I probably wouldn't be as harsh on the matter. We must obey what God says, though. He is always right.

What God says...or what the Bible says? One is the genuine article, the other is a collection of historical accounts, ancient laws and social customs (complete with taboos), legends, and actual legit stuff written by man with certain parts inspired by/passed down to from God... we have to take it with a grain of salt.

*Sigh*  People have always been permitted to pray in school.  The only restriction against religion in the United States is that our government is not permitted to favor one religion over the other.  Otherwise, people may personally practice whatever they want, wherever they want, as long as you do not interfere with others.

I know of some schools where you're not allowed to pray. As for the gays, too, they can do as they wish... I'm just venting cause it isn't right. (I meant being gay isn't right, I didn't mean doing as you wish isn't right).

Well, I'm sorry, but no one wants to see guys laying with guys and girls making out with girls. I don't know why the h town they're legalizing being g...ay in the first place, that's sick and twisted. Tell me one reason why being g..ay is right, and then we'll talk.

I'm not saying being g.ay is right. But religion and the state need to stay separate if this democracy thing is going to work. If the government didn't allow g.ay people, you might as well throw away freedom of religion.
