I can't breath. I can't see. I can't feel. I start to panic. Where am I. Who am I. My vision returns slowly, I realize I am in some sort of giant test tube,my jet black hair floating around me, full of liquid that tastes awful, " At least I can see and taste" I think to myself. I look down and I see about a million little tubes all over my body, and one big one right in my navel, and two up my nose, I have no idea what's going on but it hurts, a lot, it feels like a million wasps flowing through my veins, stinging me, I start to panic and thrash, the tiny tubes being pulled out by the force, then I notice the men staring at me. I suddenly can't breath, I can hear the vitals machine beep in warning, the men look panicked and quickly drain the tube. I can breath again. I can feel again, I am back again. My memories, where are they? Where am I? A woman appears next to my tube, she is crying, I try to speak, but I just gag up that nasty fluid, finally I'm able to croak out, "What...?"
She cracks the door, being careful not to get any liquid on herself, and says to me,
" Your back Kendrya, you were dead for twelve days."
Again all I'm able to croak out is "What?"
That's when I notice my bionical arm and leg, I stare in shocked horror for at least a minute, not quite believing what I’m seeing, I scream, or try to at least.
Ten minutes later, I’m sitting on a cold, hard, steel bench, wrapped in a towel. My mind is racing, “ Was I really dead?”,” Where am I?”, “Who am I?”
I have a terrible pounding headache, and the dark green walls and occasionally flashing fluorescent lights aren't helping. I’m not sure where I am, there are no windows, I don't know  if it's night or day. The woman who was crying earlier suddenly comes around the corner, looking much more composed, although her eyes are still quite red and puffy. She says to me,
“ How are you doing?”
I’m not quite sure why, but anger suddenly rises and I can't help but yell at her,
“How do you think I’m doing? You just told me I was dead and you just wrap me in a towel and leave me here to wonder what is going on?”
She stares at me, not shocked, just curious. I return her stare with a scowl.
“Why don’t you come into my office and I’ll tell you everything.”
She waits for me to stand, and after a minute I do. Her calmness infuriates me, I want her to explain to me exactly what is happening. I mutter to myself,
“Oh yeah, I have a frankenstein-reanimation-whatever-it's-called-machine-thingy in my office building too.”
“Haha, I’m glad you didn’t lose your humor.”
I scowl at her, but I keep my opinions to myself.
We go down a hallway, round a corner, and go down another hallway, round a final turn and go up a set of  stairs ,and stop and wait for an elevator, we get in and she presses the “TOP FLOOR” button. I expect the ride to be slow, like a normal elevator, but we shoot up around fifty floors in about fifteen seconds, and I about fall over and puke. Once we get off we go down another short hallway, me feeling quite nauseous, she opens a door. Her office is amazing, We are so high up, the walls and ceiling are made of glass and rounded like a slightly flattened sphere, the floor is made of the softest carpet I've ever felt. I run to one of the walls and gasp, I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at, wherever we are, its barren. The sky is pale yellow, and the ground is light gray, there are occasional puddles here and there, but the liquid is glowing green. Against the pale sky and ground, there isn't much color at all, except a strange figure seemingly mindlessly bumping into the thick metal wall protecting whatever building were in, I turn to ask the woman what it is but when I turn back it's gone, must be some sort of post traumatic death stress or something.
“Depressing, isn't it?” the woman asks me.
“Um, yeah” I say still trying to figure out what I saw, I start to wander over to her desk slowly and aimlessly, “ But what exactly is it?”
“ Oh that's a long and painful story, we’ll get to that later.” She says, “Lets start with what happened to you.” She stands up and hands me a pair of jeans, a tight fitting black t shirt and black combat boots, and a pistol with a belt holster. She turns around while she waits for me to change.  As I tug the clothing on I say,
“ Ok yeah let's start with how I died.”
I pull the boots on and throw my hair up into a ponytail, and pull the gun and holster around my waist. Still turned around she says,
“ Fourteen days ago-”
She is interrupted by gunfire outside,I sprint towards the window and see the figure quickly climbing up the outer protective wall like a spider, using all four limbs to climb up the thick and high wall, and shuffles towards the guards and attack them. Shot after shot, the figure doesn't go down. As it slowly advances on the guards, it overcomes one. His companions try to help him, but it is futile. As the figure slowly bites the flailing guard, his skin slowly starts to take the same sort of grayish tint as the figure. This continues for three long and antagonizing minutes, there is only one guard left, cowering in the corner, until the now many figures over take him. All I can do is stare at the absolute massacre happening below me. Suddenly, one of the guards, now a figure like the first, starts crawling up at an inhuman speed the tall shaft towards right where I'm standing, it's halfway up the tall shaft when the woman grabs me and quickly pulls me away from the window. All I can do is stare at the woman, not quite sure what just happened.

She pulls me out of her office and we run down the hallway in which we came from,  towards a door I hadn't noticed when we first came up. We come to the door when I hear the figure crash through the window, it shuffles through the office, it slowly comes down the hall, staring straight at me, and smiles. Its thirty feet away. The lights blink. Now it's twenty. Another blink. Ten now. I can see its sickly gray skin through, its veins now pumping black liquid, throbbing. It's still smiling, it's teeth are red and dripping with blood. It reaches out to me. I raise my arm up just a tiny bit, all I can do is stare into its black cold dead eyes. Just as it's about to touch me, the woman grabs my arm and pulls me through the door. I feel like I just woke up from a daze. The thing becomes infuriated. It screams such a blood-curdling scream all I can do is collapse to my knees. It's pushing and punching and clawing  the door, after the fifth or sixth punch it breaks through, its hand hanging off its arm just by a tiny piece of blue skin, Its fingers almost completely worn down from the clawing, the black liquid drips down its severed hand and fingertips, and makes a puddle,. It's reaching for me. I take a step forward. And another. Were inches apart. I reach up with my bionic hand and tug slightly, its hand falls to the metal floor. All I can do is stare, like i'm in a trance. It slowly pulls its arm out of the hole, turns around, and shuffles into a wall, over and over again. It seems to of lost its interest in me, and now seemingly mindless once again. I slowly reach down and pull my pistol out. I take aim and fire two shots into its head. It collapses. The woman walks up behind me and says,
“Kendrya, we have to go now.”
I turn around and let her lead me down another hallway. she opens a door and were outside on a helicopter pad, there is a helicopter sitting there and waiting for us. We climb in silently and we take off. As we fly I can see the building we were in, it has a long shaft, at least seventy five floors high, and topped off with her office, The whole building is made of steel, and is now swarming with those things. The giant wall is covered in blood splatters, and I look away from the depressing and gruesome scene. I suddenly wonder how this woman knows so much about me and why I've been blindly following her, I turn to ask her,
“ Who are you and what is your name?”
She looks at me and slightly smiles, she responded with,
“My name is Jennifer, and I'm your older sister.”
