Located on 450 acres in Holmes, New York, Omega Teen Camp includes a large swimming pool with diving board, boating lake, 50-foot climbing wall, high ropes course, sports fields, and hiking trails. Just 90 miles north of New York City, it is easily accessible and attended by teens from all over the world.

Q: What type of teenager participates in your camp or program?
A: It is difficult to classify a typical Omega Teen camper. We think we are the perfect summer camp for any sensitive, creative thinking teenager who is looking to have a great time while exploring new things in a safe and loving community. Teens who might not think of themselves as "camp kids" often love our camp. Traditionally, girls make up 65 percent of the population at our summer camp program. We don't know exactly why that is, but it has been that way since we first started Omega Teen Camp in 2001, and somehow it works out just fine.
Q: Where do your participants come from?
A: About 80 percent of our campers come from the Northeast, and the other 20 percent fly in from around the country and around the world.
Q: What is the housing like and what can you tell us about the meals?
A: At our New York teen summer camp, most campers stay in modern cedar log cabins with a supervising counselor of the same sex. Other campers stay in bunk houses also supervised by adult counselors. Our oldest boys stay in tent cabins with 3–4 boys per tent and several counselors in adjacent tents. Whenever possible, we accommodate roommate requests.
All cabins are located within a very short distance of showers and bathrooms. Cabins, showers, and bathrooms have lights, but there are no electrical outlets for things like hairdryers or iPods.
Food at Omega Teen Camp is far from your usual fare at other summer camp programs. Our chefs specialize in healthy vegetarian cuisine made from scratch. Each meal includes many different choices and selections. There are always great vegetarian dishes, superb salads, and occasionally organic, free-range beef and chicken. All meals are served buffet style and campers can take as much as they want, as often as they want.
Q: Please describe what teens have to say about your program.
A: "Omega has, and always will be, the special place where I felt true happiness swell, flow, and radiate from my body. No words can describe my gratitude. One thing I know that I can expect from Omega’s summer camp program is that every year I will discover something new about myself. I have grown both spiritually and intellectually. Omega has enabled me to find ways to live at peace with myself. I’m not scared anymore, I have hope."
"I would like to thank you for the generous scholarship Omega Teen Camp gave me last year. On top of having the time of my life, I also made many new friends whom I remain in touch with, and who help me through everyday life at home. Summer camp has helped me find my new passion—running—by giving me skills I can take home. Omega Teen Camp is my home away from home. It is my 're-boost' to help get through another year."
"I feel like that was probably the most significant, amazing two weeks of my life so far. It gave me so much hope for my future and the world in general. Thank you so much for creating somewhere where I feel creative and loved."
"This is an amazing teen summer camp where you can let loose and be your own creative, artistic, shoeless self."
