Released September 22, 2016, when I first heard it, I knew it was destined to be a smash; a runaway hit. It's a crossover masterpiece of R&B and Electro-Pop, a unique piece of music heaven. The chorus is simple, a Daft Punk assisted stream of "ha, ha's" and The Weeknd declaring numerous times what he is and has proven to be, a Starboy. Over the verses, he taunts at other musicians things like the fact that makes your whole year in a week, and sings about his love for very expensive cars, presumably a Blue Mulsanne. You may have to force yourself to not nod your head along to this song's ferocious beat and timely piano chords. Like other Weeknd songs, Abel sings a lot about drugs and hook-ups, but that shouldn't deter the destined platinum-record from achieving monumental status, and definitely won't hinder The Weeknd's throne as the "Starboy" of the music industry. I am now very pumped for the upcoming "Starboy" album, set to be released November 25, 2016.
