Adrenaline junkies and the un-scare-able join me now, The Woman in Black is plot-less and bland. Teen dream, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) plays the main character, Arthur Kipps, in this dark film. If he couldn’t die in a wizard world, what could a ghostly mother do to him? Fearless as he seems staying in the small town’s haunted house, he is really just stupid. The death of a boy in a marsh triggers a revengeful mother ghost to reek havoc on the town. Even though Daniel Radcliffe is clueless to the town drama, he is the one to blame. As it plays out, every time the woman in black is seen a town’s child dies. Slowly figuring it out he manages to cause several deaths because he becomes roomie with the ghost. He plays a lawyer, who’s job is to divide up the haunted property. But after a few fatal attempts to get rid of him, he continues to stay! Foolish. Aiming for suspense, the only thing that will make you jump is the brief appearance of the woman’s face accompanied by a scream and Daniel’s deathly white complexion. Get a tan or get some acting skills Danny, this movie was far from being a terror classic
