'One person's "annoying" is another person's "inspiring and heroic"' - Leslie Knope (Parks and Recreation)

If you're seeking a captivating book that you can set your heart on, Sandy Hall's 'A Little Something Different' would be my first recommendation. The lives of beloved freshman Lea and charming, yet distant Gabe will become your absolute obsession.

Have you ever seen a couple that belong together but don't have the courage to do anything about it? You'll be driven insane with laughter and aggravation when reading this enchanting book. However, it is anything but your 'typical' love story. Sandy Hall has taken originality to the next level with her first novel, writing from 14 people's points of view rather than from the main characters themselves. Starbucks baristas, passionate professors, an acorn-addicted squirrel and Lea's fabulous gay bestfriend are only but a few of the 14 who find themselves entangled within watching the lives of Lea and Gabe gradually collide. You will be left on edge as they quickly brush past one another or slightly smile during creative writing class, pleading that a spark will fire between them.

'A Little Something Different' infatuated me and left me to rethink my own life. Sandy Hall has left me dazed throughout this story, consistently wanting more. I will be astounded if this book doesn't become more than it already is, I wouldn't pass on the opportunity to read this feel-good book. Try 'A Little Something Different', you may be surprised.

Okay, if you remember this, I'd love to hear (read) your opinion when you finish the book. :) Let me know whether this was a good recommendation and if you guessed the ending before it was revealed! ;) Enjoy!

Thank you! I find it important within reviews to include some inside jokes that people who have read the book can relate to, as well as it intriguing new and potential readers!

Great review! You've made the book sound intriguing while incorporating some of your own writing style and humor. :) If you enjoyed following the multiple characters, you might like 'The Westing Game.' I read this book several years back, and the tone is different because it's a mystery involving a dead man's will, but the most fabulous part of the book is the 16 main characters, all with fascinating, individual personalities that baffle and entertain throughout the novel. I realize it's drastically different from this book in subject, but who knows? Maybe you'd enjoy it. :)

I agree with CNBono, it's catching. You are just good at adding interesting details and writing in a charismatic way.

Catching. It definitely intrigues you. I like how you write this, seemingly giving away everything but in actuality not giving away any major plot points. Keep it up:)
