My Book Review
Book title and author: Almost Identical, Lin Oliver
Title of review: Almost Identical
Number of stars (1 to 5): 5
Almost Identical is an excellent book for teenage girls. As soon as I picked it up, I could not put it down. Sammie and Charlie Diamond, twin sisters, best friends, and tennis players, soon find out the things that make them not-so-identical.

The Diamonds are moving to a brand new school in California, and the stress is starting to build up. Charlie would like to be friends with Lauren, the popular girl, which Sammie is truly concerned about. Sammie knows that Lauren is not a true friend. So, Sammie finds other friends that share similarities with her.

As the girls go through the year, they learn many differences and start to drift apart. Charlie tries out for cheerleading with Lauren when Sammie joins a club called the Truth Tellers.

Almost Identical has conflicts and resolutions that are jaw dropping and will keep you up at night. I recommend this book to tweens.
