Introduction: Stanley and Zero get sent to camp Green Lake, were they will dig holes. Everyday they will dig holes from dusk to dawn, and only get a lunch break. Also each kids water canteen will be filled once a day filled to the top. If any of the member of camp find any artifact or unique objects, they will get the rest of the day of to do whatever they want.


Description and summary of main points: While camp members dig, they have to be aware of yellow spotted lizards. These lizards are extremely poisonous and can kill a human being in one bit. Kate Barlow had died when the lake was dry and died under a boat, which Stanley and zero find later on. They also find a peachy drink under this boat they called splosh. Next, Stanley and Zero go on a journey to the top of Gods Thumb mountain. When these two boys get to the top after they have went days without water or food they find a stream with water, and fresh delicious onions. Finally, they hike back to camp to find the treasure that had later belonged to Stanley Yelnats


Evaluation: This book is a very good book. This teaches children to not steal and stay out of trouble, and the consequences you can face and what can happened to you.


Conclusion: Holes is a very good book and plays a major role on children and there behavior. Also it is a good book just to read and a information giver.


Your final review: Yes , I would recommend this book to some adults and many children. It is a great book.
