Title of review: How to Survive Middle school Review
Number of stars (1 to 5): Five of Five Stars
Introduction
Going in to sixth grade, many people were terrified to be in middle school. They thought of being shoved in lockers, not knowing anybody, and being bullied by older students in many harsh ways. Eleven year old David Greenberg felt exactly that way, going into Harmon Middle School as a sixth grader.
Description and summary of main points
David, who admires Jon Stewart (a very famous talk show host), loves to make his own videos, and upload them to YouTube, His most famous segment is his 6 and a half list, which is just a list of six and a half things. Not many watch them, so David does it for fun. Going into middle school, David loses his best friend Eli, which makes the new school even harder. After a couple days in his classes, David makes friends with a cute girl, who secretly both like each other. David is happy so far in middle school, and hopes this is how it will always be.
Evaluation
Eli, David’s old friend, is now hanging out with a really big bully, who could be really harming to David. After a while, Eli and his friend start bullying David. Afteswirlyes, lunch messes and more, David has had enough. He goes home during the day one day, due to a swirly, and does not want to go to school ever again. The girl that David likes comes to his house one day, because they have become really good friends. Her name is Sophie. Sophie, who was adopted, views one of David’s videos, and shows it to her old foster home. All the kids love the videos, and David instantly goes viral.
Conclusion
David gets on the Jon Stewart Show, and from there he lives the good life. He was afraid of middle school, had a couple problems, but rose above his problems. He got the girl, and became a star. Overall, a great book.
Your final review
I loved this book, and anybody else will too. I suggest this book for middle school students, or soon-to-be middle school students. I would give this book 5 star because it is great and has agreat story. In conclusion, read this book!
