Introduction
Brian Robeson was just a regular teenage. He lived in New York with his mom in a little neighbor hood. His parents are getting a divorced, because his mother supposedly cheated on her husband. Brian was very disappointed with his mother and could not stand to see her. So, he flew into Canada to live with his father. His mother was upset, but she knew it was the right thing to do. She gave Brian a present before he left on his flight to Canada.

Description and summary of main points
Brian was filled with energy to leave his mothers and live with his father for a while. As he gets on the plane, his mother gives him two things, a 20$ bill and a hatchet. The flight was a small airplane with only him and the airplane driver. They had some conversation as Brian checks out the plane. As he talks to the driver, he has a heart attack. Brian didn’t know what to do. He though he just had some bad stomach pains. He starts to panic, takes control and does pretty well job until there’s no fuel left in the tank. They start plummeting towards the ground, but they hit a lake. After that, the plane hits the water and sinks down to the deep part of the lake. He resurfaces the top of the water, which than he see land. He had nothing at all to use during survival. Everything was damaged or washed away. He gets stranded in the middle of Canada’s woods. He tries to survive with what all he has. He was forced to take measures that he never imagined.

Evaluation
Brian is stranded with only the clothes he had on and the hatchet. The plane was pretty far down in the lake. Pieces came up and he could glance at objects he could use. He started to get use to this nature thing. It seemed like it was starting to make him go insane. Which he talked to himself and animals, he had lots of time to think. There’s only so much light in a day. He worked to survive. After a while he though no one would come to get him.

Conclusion
In the end, he though no one was thinking about him anymore that he went missing. So he forgot and made it his new life. It was a routine to him. Than after so many days went by, people started looking. His parents stopped after one week of searching, pathetic right? Well he though he was a goner. Than about almost three months in his living there stranded. They finally found him, with such joy and accomplishment.

Your final review
I would recommend this to other people to read. Yes, it is very interesting and fascinating to read. You start to get into the book, and than can’t stop reading. At first its very slow paced, than it starts to get more and more intense.
