Almost everyone likes Meg Cabot's books, especially her New York Times best seller, All-American Girl. So, I bought the sequel, Ready or Not, which continues Samantha Madison's crazy life after she saves the president and begins to date his son. It goes into more detail about Sam's problems with the press and her boyfriend.
I hate to criticize a Meg Cabot book, especially after reading The Princess Diaries series, The Mediator series, and
All-American Girl, but after a few chapters this book gets dull - very, very dull. The material becomes extremely repetitive and there is little excitement. Although hilarious in places, I can't say much more good about it. This book is really a waste of time.
