The music starts up and makes me feel like it’s about to get exciting. I can almost picture what they’re doing in my mind. At the end of their cheer routine they spirit off with big smiles on their face. As the spokesman is calling off all the other awards, they finally get down to calling the first place team. “First place in the varsity co-ed division is…… Jim Thorpe High school!” I bet it was a great feeling. It was finally her “Shining Freshman Moment.” Thanks Bridget for making such a great article!
