Although we were young, we still fell in love
My fragile heart has been broken before
And I would look up to the sky above
To hope you’re true because I deserve more

Your deep, gentle voice always calms me down
Your kindest words touch deep into my heart
It pains me to know you’re out of town
I fear the day when you will want to part

I have told all of my secrets to you
As you have also told all yours to me
I wish for the world to give me a clue
So I would know whether to stay or flee

My choice to flee is what I will regret
But I know my heart will never forget.
