All the World is Singing Skinny

It’s not enough that he loves me.
He always tells me I’m perfect,
But in my mind I keep hearing:
“Just lose some more.”

 

And it feels like I’m trapped in my own head.
Hearing these voices,
Saying I’m worthless,
So I’m torn to shreds.

And it’s so hard to fight it.
Fight the urge to give in;
I know I can last another day.
Just got to see how much I weigh.

 

It’s not enough that I’m thinner.
I have to keep skipping dinner.
