My Love for Sweets

A sonnet for my nice, lovely sweets
Sweeter than the birds that tweet
You are my love, my life
Because of you I have no strife
With frosting so white
And brighter than any light
My sweets, my love
I adore you like little doves
Your sweet, fluffy cake
Which everyday I take
Your sweetness shines
Brighter than stars a thousand times
My love for you grows stronger by day
An everlasting rose of May

"Phoebus Apollo of the Silver Spoon" Roxane (the love of my life) once told my friend Christian (RIP) that he needed to, "Be brilliant... be eloquent... [to] gather your dreams into words" I think you'd have made Roxane proud with this poem. I've never met you, but the quality of this sonnet suggests a large nose!
