The sun had risen and you were here,

Next to me walking and laughing, with no fear.

How beautiful life was, was it not my dear?

The weather sometimes was hard,

But there was nothing that had left us too scarred.

The rain had poured down, but I had an umbrella,

I wouldn't let you get wet, my dear Bella.

The snow had fallen, but I had helped you get through.

I took your hand and I had walked with you.

Until that day when the storm was too strong,

A force that we certainly could not overcome.

Now, I am here all lonesome.

I hear your voice telling me not to fret,

But how can I not, when the sun has set.

What inspired me to write this piece was the death of my dear friend who's wife died. He is 87 years old and his wife recently passed away. She was severly sick and so I wanted to make the weather represent her illness.

LOOK AT MY PROFILE. DO IT.

This is beautiful and so sad...it's haunting. I love it; keep up the great work!
