Freedom is like the struggling ocean.
Both give you a new sense of the unknown,
Both gift you with a lovely commotion,
Both create a sense of being alone.

But like the ocean, freedom can use force.
It can push you towards different paths,
Until you are completely off your course
and undergoing its frightening wrath.

After this occurs you may crash back to land,
But you should not regret that you’re at bay
because you just need that comforting sand,
To hold you and say you will be okay.

After all, freedom is like the ocean,
And you can’t always swim in that motion.
