An Exercise in Fertility

But one conception fills the teenage mind —
I do not speak for girls because I can
not get inside them; though I tend to find
that most young boys do feel this to a man.

My whims are dirty, yet I wish them clean.
My inside vision parks on parts undreamt
by dignified adults who prune and preen.
Alas, I am internally unkempt.

I certainly intend to procreate;
’til then I try for some sterility
of soul, yet in my head I consummate
an exercise in sweet fertility.

I am so glad to get that off my chest;
impurity and I remain abreast.

This satirical sonnet is about the hormonal effects of being a teenager (I cannot emphasize enough that it is EXAGGERATED!).  I hope it elicits a laugh from some of you. :)

Funny poem. Nice job forming it, and it is well written. I usually give out critique for people`s work, but in this case, your work is so different than mine, that I could not critique it. It fascinates me! Nice job!
