Breaking news comes on the t.v.

ISIS with another beheading.

While people gather to see,

The family of the victim is on talking, while their hearts are shredding.

During this, we remember the most catastrophic day.

A plane crashing into the North tower

With fire burning and smoke that's gray,

The crying for help was familiar to a baby crying because it doesn't have power.

Since then we live in fear:

Looking at people differently,

Having to have faith that your airplane is crystal clear,

And having faith that nothing will happen to the family you love unconditionally.

Why should we live with fear?

When we could live with cheer.

What inspired me to write this poem was just listening to the news and having to hear about all the wars and terrorist. This made me write about this as my perspective.
