My Peace and Comfort

Have you ever felt like you were drowning?
I felt like I was about to suffocate.
All I wanted was to keep on running.
But the guilt inside me would detonate.
I felt bombarded by all the questions
and I felt detached from all my answers.
So now I have an honest confession.
I never thought of what really matters
For me, I can find peace in my songs
and I find comfort in teaching others
Finally, I found where my heart belongs
On my soul peace and comfort work wonders
For now I can finally sleep in peace
I have never felt this kind of relief
