mystery and value of life

Life has many meanings of what it means
People have many thoughts on what’s not known
And learning passions makes my heart gleam
Life can mean more; means most to their own
What is life entitled to give you?
Is it pain, love, worth or accomplishment?
What it really means, I hope to be true.
I hope that I really knew what life meant
Before I leave this condescending place
I need to have insight for my future
And see what really gives it grace
I will be rolling in life’s fortune
Death, give me time to study my ways
And death be ready to hear what I say
