One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.

A Sonnet
Sometimes you just really love somebody
Remember the moment we first kissed
My heartbeat making its own melody
Discovering the reason we exist

And then something changed, said you had to go
Leaving me with little to know. Oh well
Sick with worry, taste my tears as they flow
It is my heaven and it is my hell

Time to set out, to go reach for the sky
I don’t want to understand why you lied
To the one I love, I’m saying goodbye
I still can’t believe what you tried to hide

Realize what you have. Oh baby can’t you see
We will make it through this catastrophe

The author's comments:
I wrote this when I was going through a tough time with my boyfriend. He moved back to his moms before he even told me. I was really hurt and confused and i needed to write a sonnet for class and this ordeal helped me come up with something to write, so I hope you enjoy it!
