Who am I
to have stumbled upon you?
Why was I the one
who wanted to talk with you?
Where was I
when you were here?
And where were you
when I was there?
I sit here alone,
I ponder and pray
That your world will be better tomorrow
than it was today
And to remind myself
what I am fighting for,
I look at your smile,
and am pained no more.
