His Great Song
As God taketh away he doth restore,
In all our darkest moments he’s our guide,
When we face trials worse than all else before,
He is our rock, forever at our side.
At times we feel that we’ve been abandoned,
Left on this crooked path to fight alone,
But God will be there when we feel stranded,
And bring us back when we flee from our home.
Perhaps we ask why we must fight great wars,
Whatever did I do that was so wrong?
But God our father has much more in store,
For those who add a note to his great song.
God won’t forsake you if you call his name;
All else my fall, but God shall never change.
